Muddy Wellies references

Our school wanted to develop a redundant piece of land at the back of the school into an outdoor classroom that would also stimulate our children with special educational needs. We contacted Muddy Wellies, from the Yellow Pages, and asked them to give us a quote.

Steve from Muddy Wellies visited the site and with our brief came up with a brilliant plan, using their expertise in garden design. We used this plan as a basis of our tendering process in order to get best value but also met financial regulations and Muddy Wellies came in with the lowest price.

The final decision about the project was given to Muddy Wellies at the beginning of June with works to start at the end of July, although this timescale was tight they began work as promised and finished within the scheduled time of 8 weeks.

The pre site meeting involved choosing final materials and colours; arranging access and any health and safety issues.

The team from Muddy Wellies worked really well on site; providing everything including their own portaloo, ensuring that the time needed form the Site Premises Manager and school was kept to a minimum, with just regular updates on progress.

The final outdoor classroom is fantstic and has made a great difference to the feel of our inner city school.

I have really enjoyed working with Steve. This has been my first major project at Jubilee School and he has made the experience go really smoothly; they are a small company and they have that individual local approach to dealing with schools. They are obviously epxerts in this field with a passion for their work and ensuirng that they do a great job for their clients, with attention to detail; they give great value for money; they understant the brief; they do not overwhelm you with too much information; are happy to advise; the aftercare service has been great and we have asked that they provide regular maintenance to this area to ensure we keep it looking as great as when they finished.

Dear Tracy and Steve, just a quick note to say how pleased we were with our garden. Your staff were excellent, well informed, efficient and tidy.

Everything went to plan even though we had some bad weather during the builidng, your staff managed to cope with this and the final garden is even better than we imagined. We are really looking forward to spending time in the garden in this summer and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to our friends.

I would just like to re-iterate how great the front of the house is looking. Square to the house, neat mortar joints, well cut/shpaed flags and sets, gentle fall away from the house and well mulched planting with good quality box plants. I have shown video footage to Naomi and she is really pleased with it. We have even had complimentary comments from other freeholders at the house. Many thanks, your team has done an excellent job.
